1204 Beach Trail. Pets Welcome

As a family, we have been having vacations at this little bungalow for over a decade. We love it for so many reasons. It’s right on the beach and it’s surrounded by sea grape trees that makes it feel tucked away. We love that we can take the family dog. It is an old home that has been there for almost 100 years and is charming and cozy.

We’ve rented this unit at least 3 times. It’s a wonderful old Florida bungalow.
Fortunately, Sharon and Taylor were great about taking care of any concerns we had. We are going to rent a different condo next year since there are improvements needed inside and outside of Beach Trail.

This home was exactly what I needed! With the mature trees on the property gives you alot of privacy. And just steps away from the amazing beach! I Would definitely rent this home again

Loved the privacy and comfort of Beach Trail! We’ve rented there previously and have decided this is our favorite place. We both loved the old world feel of this beach house. It has everything anyone would need for an extended stay. It was clean and well stocked with dishes, pots and pans and a barbecue grill outside. The in house washer dryer unit was a big plus. We enjoyed the shaded area outside after staying at another place with no shade. We booked another 2 weeks for next year

We love staying here and have stayed two times. It is our favorite place because we can bring our dog along, it is very private and within walking distance to restaurants, nature centers and parks that we like to frequent. We especially appreciate that it is on the beach and a little, well-lit and maintained park is right outside the door!

Property description was accurate. Property was old which resulted in some places to not be "kept up". I had an older house and can totally relate and thoroughly had an amazing experience. It was typical for places that allow pets. I am returning again next year. Property management people were wonderful and helpful. I have recommended it to my pet friends

We have stayed here before, and have always had a great time in this cottage on the beach. The new furniture looks great. this house is right on the beach.

We stayed here a week with our dog. The rental was exactly as described. We found it very comfortable and it had everything we needed. The backyard space was great for our purposes.

This is a rare find. We loved the overgrowth and the privacy it allowed. Quaint old Florida feel.

A disappointment

Loved having a private house with private beach access. Definitely needs to replace the couches - we covered them with bedspreads while we were there. Wonderfully private back yard but does need some upkeep. Manager of property was very nice to work with.

Very little view of gulf weeds and bushes take up the view. Had a roach,needs to have all old broken furniture taken out, bed has a board under mattress, love seat also has a board under cushions, couch has holes in it. Dishes and silverware dirty, no beach towels. We have stayed here about 11yrs ago it still about the same just more run down. Doors don’t shut well windows need to be replaced. We will not be back!

Wonderful stay once again - a lovely oasis of old school Florida right on the beach. Can't wait to come back next year!

I think this is the 4th time we’ve stayed at 1204 Beach Trail. I love that it’s an old house. I do have a concern about some of the maintenance that needs to be done. I’m hoping it’s not being deferred because the property is going to be sold and it’s going to be knocked down.

We had a wonderful time. The little bungalow was in a great location. It was right on the beach where we saw mantees, stingrays, schools of little fish and beautiful sunsets.

Loved the cute little cottage. It wasn't fancy,but had everything you need. The location was awesome. We will be returning as soon as we can.

This place was adorable and clean. It was the right size for a family of 5 (including 3 boys). We really enjoyed the old school bungalow style and the plantings/trees around the property. We will be back!

Loved the quiet stay. The property has an overgrown feel that provides wonderful privacy and shade throughout the day. This is part of why I love it. You can easily enjoy a sit in the back and see the Gulf, but not everyone on the beach. Nice and peaceful.

Wonderful quiet if your own home. The landscape takes up a bit of the property, but this is what makes it special. You have lots of shade and aren't starting at the neighbors. Grocery (Publix) is just a 5 minute drive.

This place is a gem . This sweet old Florida beach house nestled in the dunes was perfect for us. The beach was our backyard for one glorious week and I’m already dreaming of going back.

Property is very run down and unclean. There were cockroaches in the kitchen and bathroom. We prepaid but left four days early because of the condition of the property. Asked for a substitute property, even if the price were higher, but were not offered any alternatives.

We had a wonderful week at this very private old style cottage. The house was very clean and had all the amenities that we needed. Best of all was the location, directly on the beach perfect with children. The beach was not overly crowded and we were easily able to stay well away from other groups. My only suggestion would be to trim the trees on the backside to increase the view of the beach. Overall would highly recommend.

This is the 3rd time we have spent a week at this cottage. Love the old Florida feel and that the dogs can come to the beach with us.

Location was great! Place was as expected from description and pictures. Lots of privacy.

We spent a week at 1204 Beach Trail in Indian rocks Beach. Very Secluded. It may not be for everybody but it was dog friendly and right on the beach. Very comfortable. Had an old Florida feel to it. Very Enjoyable.

The location was perfect. Nestled in nature's cover, the house was in the middle of the action yet as private as you can get. Located near amazing restaurants and fish markets. The house was furnished to suite the location. Seaside was on the spot with any questions we had. We 100 percent will go back. And we have already referred this house to family.

Location is excellent, But I can not understand why the property is so dirty and smelly, and the outside grounds are so over grown you cant even sit out side.
We made the best of it but we shouldn't have to.
Management company was very understanding and top notch. Stay away from this property if you want clean and not smelly. My wife had to wash everything and lay her washed sheets on all the chairs and couches so we would feel OK about sitting on them.
It is such a shame that a beautiful location is not maintained or even cleaned.

Wonderful, charming vacation home.

Great secluded area. VERY PRIVATE home. The only issue is that it is next to public access beach which was a little crowded. Other than that it was a great stay!!!!!!!

At the last minute my husband and I decided to spend a week at the beach and we wanted to take our dog. We had never stayed at IRB but the location was perfect (and we would go back again). The location was quiet but close to restaurants and ice cream shops. The cottage was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our stay (including a nice grassy area in front that was perfect for the pooch!). But the place was below our standards for cleanliness and we wound up running the vacuum and washing glasses the first day of our stay. In addition, we enjoy "natural settings" but the landscaping was overgrown to the point that the view of the beach/Gulf was limited from the windows facing the beach. But the positives far outweighed the negatives and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The cabin was very large do not look at the outside pics. Needs more open space near the seawall.

We can't wait to return and will be making it a yearly event!

This was our fourth time at 1204 Beach Trail. Clean and quite, a perfect place to relax.

we have been to this property before and love the location and charm of the house. This last stay we noticed the house could use an overall good cleaning, dust and dirt. After we cleaned what we could, the house was much easer to stay in. We would rent this house again.

We had a wonderful vacation. The cottage was exactly what I expected. The outside area was not really the best situation for our two dogs. They frequently brought in stickers. I thought the overgrowth was a definite negative for us. The overgrowth in the back also hindered the amount of room on the patio.

My wife and I spent a month in this beachfront property. We enjoyed every minute of every day, and were sad to leave! I would highly recommend this property to anyone!

We have stayed here several times.The cottage has a lot of charm and is very comfortable.The kitchen and bath are both modern but the rest of the cottage is interesting with original features of old Florida. The view of the gulf is great. It is a private location but close to everything.
The management is fantastic. Any problems,you just call and it will be taken care of quickly and with a smile.
