Mermaid's Lair

We had a wonderful week staying in Indian Rocks Beach. The home, Mermaid's Lair was perfect for our stay. All the amenities we could need. The kitchen was stocked well, the views, sunsets, heated pool and hot tub just added more fun to our days. We would stay again at Mermaid's Lair. Great location for shopping and many restaurants, but you don't need to leave this house. Everything you need for a wonderful holiday is under one roof! The staff was excellent and very helpful when we had a question.

We have stayed in the Mermaid Lair before and the beauty of the home beach and pool keeps drawing us back. Right on the beach. Pool outside the door. We have 6 adults (3 couples) and 4 children under 6. There’s plenty of room for all of us to have our own space. Plenty of space to cook in or out. Fully stocked home

We love Mermaid's Lair which is perfect for a multi-generational family trip. It is a bonus to have beach chairs and toys provided with the house. The kitchen is well stocked and we ate in every night, enjoying the amazing sunsets and views from the house. Being July, it was very hot so the pool was very welcome and being right on the beach meant we could set up on the beach early in the morning and go back to the house for the air conditioning later in the day, before returning to the beach mid afternoon. Our only suggestion is to close up the fabric concertina door between the king room and the bunkroom for more privacy.Seaside Property Shoppe were quick to address one or two issues that came up during our stay. We have reserved our week for 2025 already! This house will not disappoint!

Gorgeous views and great access to the beach! The house is very well maintained and comes with everything you need and even things you didn’t think of! They had board games, pool toys/floaties, pack N plays, etc. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time all together, Grandma & Grandpa, Paul, Danielle, Michael (12), Lily (9) and Perri, Mike, Max (18 months). Especially enjoying the beach and pool and playing games together at night.
The sunsets were amazing and taking photos of them with and without the kids in the foreground was so special. We will all have great memories of our week there.

Our stay at Mermaid's Lair was wonderful in every way! Taylor was helpful in answering all questions before and during our stay and addressing any (small) issues that came up. The house is beautiful and was spotless on arrival. The location is ideal. I would highly recommend Mermaid's Lair and would definitely stay here again!

Family vacation with 5 children under 10 can get pretty crazy but we had a great time. Nice walks on the beach. Walk to the ice cream store. Small convenience store across the street. Surf and sand. We did have good weather. A little cold at night. Beautiful home.

The house was absolutely perfect for our group of 9, ranging in age from 11 months to 65. The house did not lack in anyway. We would rent it again in a heartbeat. There's 2 washer and dryers for beach towels (included) and regular clothes/towels, 2 dishwashers, the beach is your backyard, and the hot tub got plenty warm. There were more then enough pool/beach toys, umbrellas and beach chairs. Although a high chair and pack n play are included, we did rent 2 cribs, an additional high chair and some beach wagons from BabyQuip (Karin Villa) right nearby

This is a fantastic house. We enjoyed every piece of it: the view from the balcony, the super-size kitchen, the pool ... everything. The house is fully equipped and we had a cooking event one night. If there was anything "negative" to say then, that there are not enough chairs neither at the dinner table nor on the deck for a party of nine. We improvised and that worked well, too.

The house is big and beautiful! Extremely short walk to the beach. The pool area is great.

This was our third stay at the Mermaid’s Lair, where we host a family beach vacation, and it couldn’t have went any better. The home is perfectly situated location wise for convenience and the amenities and views are exceptional.

This was the perfect vacation home for our family! The layout, the views, the kitchen and the outside spaces were all so well thought out. If we were to design our own vacation home, we would model it off of this. The home was very clean, had everything we needed in terms of appliances and necessities, and the sports equipment available to us was an added bonus! The management company was quick to respond to the one problem they were aware of when we checked in. Having the beach just steps out the back door was a huge plus. The only negative we experienced was the spotty wifi and cell service on the property. However, this will not deter us from renting here again. We hope to be back again soon!

We had the most amazing family vacation at this ocean-side property. The house is spacious and the floor plan is ideal for large groups. The house is fully stocked with all supply. The location is amazing . . . close to restaurants, grocery, and tennis courts/playground.

This is an amazing house with views, a spacious pool and room to spread out for our family of 12. The kitchen was great for cooking and 2 dishwashers was convenient. The small office was a surprise and nice to have. Had some difficulty operating the electric blinds but they are nice to have especially when the sun is at a certain angle. Beds in the bunk room made a squeaky noise because of the mattress covers. And did not realize there is not a full wall between the bunk room and connecting king bedroom. Adding the extra wall instead of an accordion divider would make the space perfect for a family to have more privacy. 2 washers and dryers was nice to wash beach towels in the garage and other clothes upstairs. Wish the master bathroom had more division with a powder room but guess it’s the open modern style. It is a beautiful home on a quiet street and we hope to visit again!

We've booked this beach house for a few years now and it doesn't disappoint. Kids and grandkids had a blast as alway going from the beach to the pool and back and forth. Everything is included it this place and it is in a great locations for dinning, bars, walks. Booked already for next year. Love it here.

New bath towels and new kitchen towels. Alarm on pool door (great when you have littles). Spacious. Beautifully decorated. Close steps away from beach. Plenty of fridge space. Plenty of dishes. Large stove. Huge master bedroom and bath. Overall A plus. Great location

Mermaid's Lair is terrific! Lots of room for large families, superb outdoor deck spaces directly open to beach and the best pool and hot tub we've ever seen! Highly recommended

We had a fantastic family vacation at Mermaid’s Lair, everything was perfect! There wasn’t a thing that wasn’t thought of. The property was gorgeous and had everything we needed plus some. Seaside Property Shoppe was great when an issue arose, it was taken care of very quickly.

The house is lovely. I am an avid cook and chose the house for the kitchen. I was very happy in there, my only suggestion is that the garbage is far away. I usually have mine right there. Another suggestion is to have more glass wine glasses and glasses. French people do not like drinking fine Burgundy and Bordeaux in plastic glasses. Other than that it was perfect, we had a fabulous time and would happily come again.

This layout of this home was perfect for a 3 generation family vacation! The beach was a close walk and there were plenty beach chairs, umbrellas and toys! And the pool was amazing....we all loved relaxing and playing in the pool after a day at the beach! And the location was perfect...near many good restaurants and ice cream shoppes!

This was the first time trying this home and we loved it the location was what got me it’s so close for evening walks for supper or just ice cream the grocery store across the street was helpful also . The house was clean and the views were great ours kids enjoyed the private pool there is so much good stuff to say about this home. You won’t be disappointed and we hope to return sometime

Second time we have stayed at the Mermaid's Lair. We booked for two weeks this year to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary. The first week we had 13 children and grandchildren. This house is great for the kids. Lots of toys and beach tools to play with and the bathroom on the beach level is great. Beautiful long walking beach. The second week we had friends with us and the place really works well with 4 couples..

This house was amazing. It was beautifully furnished, had lots of extra amenities and was right on the beach. We loved the stay and will be back!

Look no further. This home is first class. Management is excellent and responsive. The layout is perfect for an extended family or a group of friends.
The kitchen is phenomenal. If you are looking to be able to cook in the house, there is nothing that you would not find. Everything is top quality. Clearly this house was built not as a rental and every last detail shows. All appliances are top of the line. The kitchen is designed with forethought and spending time there with a huge family was a great pleasure for me.
The views from the house especially from the master are breathtaking.
Our youngest was 1 and the oldest was 92. There is something for everyone. If you get here and you are not happy, then nothing will please you. I am still smiling thinking about my week there.

6 girls who have been friends since at least High School traveled to Mermaids Lair to celebrate our milestone! Amazed beyond belief-this house was better than pictures!!! We had everything you could imagine needing, extremely comfortable and the location and views couldn’t be beat! I am not a salt water person yet found myself floating in the water for hours each day just waiting for the dolphins to come and play! Enjoyed the bikes for long and short rides and some took long walks along the beach-so much, so close-great restaurants and the store across the street very convenient! A spot for all to enjoy whether congregating to chat or needing some alone time. Definitely hope to book a stay here again!

Our family of 10 had an amazing 8 day retreat at the Mermaid’s Lair and hope to return next summer! Not only does the home have all the necessary amenities but it’s been maintained at an elite level. The views are great, location is close to everything and the staff are always available. Outside of the dreaded red tide the vacation was perfect.

The house is beautifully equipped. Everything was clean and well maintained. Our only issue was the refrigerator icemaker did not work properly and never made very much ice. Our feeling was that the filter needed to be changed. And one of the dishwashers is loose. (Moves back and forth into the cabinet). Other than that we had a very wonderful vacation with our family.

The property was amazing. Our favorite part of the property was the outside space as we had 11 women and we were all able to sit out on the balcony and by the pool. There were enough chairs and the views were spectacular.

This home was beautiful! Perfect beach access and plenty of fun by the pool. We used the master balcony for our sunset celebrations! Gourmet kitchen so we made most meals. Plenty of small restaurants around for take out or dine in. Market across the street was convenient. No reason to leave this beautiful home.

Beautiful home sitting right on the beach - great views from kitchen, living room, patios and master bedroom. Kitchen was fully stocked with every conceivable pot, utensil, appliance. Pool was equally nice, cleaned twice a week and extra refrigerator in garage was very convenient. Very clean home and assistance arrived within 3 minutes when we had trouble navigating the televisions ( operator error ) despite the very clear instructions with each remote. Beach access right from pool area with a garage full of beach supplies including umbrellas, chairs, paddle board and bikes. The elevator was a great asset for parents who prefer to avoid the stairs. Highly recommended- will definitely be back!

This was by far the most beautiful vacation home that we have stayed in at the beach.
The pictures don't do it justice. It is even more beautiful in person. It has everything you could need. It is well stocked, 3 coffee makes and all the cooking utensils you could need. Plenty of beach chairs, beach towels and bicycles to ride for more than 10.
Not only was the house perfect but the management staff was outstanding.The only issue we had was the amazing refrigerator, freezer, wine chiller did not make ice. A call to Sharon and we had bags of ice delivered to our door in a matter of minutes. Taylor
also made a couple of visits to the house just to make sure the heater on the pool was working and that we didn't have any questions on how to operate the spa. Thankyou for a fabulous vaction.

Amazing property, very professionally maintained with comfortable accommodations and amenities.

This is a beautiful house with all the comforts of home. The pool and hot tub area is awesome. It is directly off the quiet beach and is set back and landscaped for total privacy. The balconies off the first and second floors offer exquisite views of the entire beach as well as views of the incredible sunsets. The home itself was decorated beautifully and was fully equipped (plenty of kitchen appliances and cookware, towels and beach toys!) It was the perfect size for two families. The management company was directly across the street and the manager couldn’t be nicer. Extremely easy check in and check out. Security deposit was refunded very timely.

Mermaid’s Lair is an amazing beach house and exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully decorated and immaculate. It has easy access to the beach and nice beach chairs and towels were available for us to use. We loved the outdoor spaces and especially the heated pool and spa. The mid and upper level porches offer sensational views of the beach and gulf. The chairs around the pool were very comfortable. The kitchen was is well equipped and it was good to have a selection of spices. It was nice to have two sets of washing machines and a second refrigerator in the garage.

We have no complaints - just a few suggestions:
A broom and dust pan on each floor would have been helpful; the lighting in the bathrooms was too dim; the internet kept going in and out and we were told it needs boosters. It would be nice to have a small ice maker on the pool level.
Guests should know that the upper level doesn’t have a true 5th bedroom. It would be perfect for parents with small children but not private for adult couples with only an accordion folding door separating the two bedrooms.

From the immaculate home, to the great weather. The home provides all the amenities you could ever want then some. The easy walk to stores and restaurants you do not need a car. The home is large but feels very comfortable. My daughter calls it her “forever vacation rental “. We will be back !!!

The location of this home is unbeatable! It's right on the beach and the pool and hot tub/spa provide views of the beach as well. It was very clean. The kitchen is very well supplied including some large pots and pans. The very large wine refrigerator in the kitchen is so convenient. The balconies also provide plenty of furniture to relax on while enjoying the beautiful views. There are two sets of washer/dryers as well as two refrigerators; plenty of beach supplies; and a pack and play and high chair. The folks at Seaside Property Shoppe were very accommodating and responsive. This house was perfect for our large group. We would definitely rent it again and we highly recommend it.

Our rental experience was really great. As described the property was beautiful and the location was amazing. We had five adults and 5 children stay at the property which worked out well.

Words can't describe this vacation destination. Family of 12... 7 adults, 3 toddlers, and 2 baby's had an unbelievable week at this rental. Everything was there and we needed for nothing. Property as described to a tea. Lots for everyone to do and have a great time. Ruth was available for any minor detail that was asked and Seaside Property was a pleasure to deal with. We have had family vaca's for the past 8 years and this one will go down as one of the best for the accommodations. Thanks so much for the memories!

Great vacation in a gorgeous beach house. Our 3 generation family spent lots of time in the heated pool and large family room. Cooking meals with top end appliances was a treat. The views were spectacular especially from the master suite balcony. Highly recommended for your next family gathering.

Wow! What an incredible indulgence. Our family of 11 stayed here for my brother's 50th birthday. The folks at Seaside Property Management were top notch professionals! The house, OMG the HOUSE! More beach towels, beach chairs, umbrellas, bed pillows and space than we could have ever used! We never even got to the bikes. The beds were comfortable, the appliances were amazing! The location right on the beach, set back just enough to enjoy the amazing views of the beach, the dolphins swimming, the sand that stretched forever in each direction while comfortably sitting on the luxurious balconies. The tvs are "smart" tvs. I enjoyed pulling up Netflix and doing some yoga from the internet right on the HUGE tv screen. I would HIGHLY recommend this place. Seriously, this was the BEST!

We loved The Mermaid's Lair! It was right on the beach, it was perfect. The beach was uncrowded and very clean. The swimming pool and hot tub were fantastic! There was plenty of room for our family to spread out. The deck has beautiful furniture to sit and relax with your morning coffee, or a glass of wine to watch the sunset. Really can't say enough about the location. The grocery store is a quick drive, and plenty of nice restaurants nearby! The interior of the home was beautiful, right out of a magazine! The beds were all comfortable with plenty of linens. A bathroom with every bedroom! The property manager, Sharon was outstanding, always available and very nice! We absolutely would rent this house again. You won't be disappointed!

The home was beautiful and exactly what the pictures described. A walk away from the beach and the pool and spa was awesome. Kitchen was very spacious and each bedroom had their own bathroom which was perfect. My only suggestion is to put a fridge on the lower level to avoid going up the stairs to refresh drinks or have lunch. The BBQ is next to the pool along with the picnic table/patio table which are shaded and were perfect for lunches. Having the bathroom on the lower level was very nice. We had a great time and would definitely come again and recommend it.

This house is beautiful, with amazing private beachfront pool with hot tub and mermaid fountain. Furniture was nice. Easy walk through dune path to nice beach. In a busy part of Indian Rocks, so beach always had quite a few people on it, even late into the evenings. Great place for swimming in the ocean, as water warm and calm. Can walk to great ice cream, Mexican/Cuban food, and the nature preserve.
